# Download

Choose the installer that fits your desktop system. Windows offers NSIS EXE and MSI; macOS is split between Apple Silicon and Intel DMG. Before installing, check out the [features screenshots](./features) and [FAQs](./faqs).

## App Updates

[Clash Light](./) checks for new versions on the "About" page. When a new version is found, the app shows the version number and release notes, and opens the corresponding download page.

Updates are never downloaded or installed automatically in the background. You can select the installer for your current system, download it, quit Clash Light, and then manually install the new version over the old one.
